In our society the presence of alcohol and tobacco is an accepted reality, these can even make you look good in society, but they are really dangerous to our health and are legal. However, other substances such as cocaine or heroin are illegal. With this in mind, should we ban alcohol and tobacco?
Personally, I think they should be illegal. If these substances were withdrawn from the market, the overall health of human beings would improve and the risks of cancellation due to tobacco or alcohol would be reduced. Only a few people with whom they consume these products today would continue to look for them in black markets.
Another reason why I think they should be left behind and more thinking about the case of alcohol, is that we would avoid unnecessary deaths due to car accidents or inadvertent homicides. Many lives would be saved and the risk of death on the road would be reduced.
In summary, in my opinion, alcohol and tobacco should not be legal because it puts the lives of many people at risk, not only that of the consumed, but also that of the people around them.
