DIALOGUE

Victoria and Susan are in the school cafe bar talking about the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology.
Susan: I think that the technology is good for everybody because it give us a quick access to information and multiple sources of knowledge.
Victoria: I understand your point but I do not agree at all with you. I think that not everything about technology is good, I think it creates a negative influence on worker productivity because they are all day using the mobile for many thing that are not important for their jobs.
Susan: But the technology is something that facilitates the communication and this is very important for improve the productivity
Victoria: It is true, but every day more and more people are spending many time hooked on mobile devices: game consoles, social networks, surfing the internet...
Susan: Yes, but in other hand, technologies reach any point on the planet instantly. Nowadays there are no longer distances, especially from the informative point of view. I think we have to give thanks to the immediacy that the historical development of the Internet has brought in the search for information.
Victoria: Yes, but don’t you think that it is evidence that more and more machines and robots have been replacing human hands with the negative consequences?
Due to the technology advances, human work is undervalued.
Susan: It is clear that today we are not on the same wave, so let’s talk about another subject.

Victoria: Ok, did you watch the football game yesterday?

DIALOGUE- LAIA OROZCO

Mar and Laia are discussing the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology as a school subject.

Mar: Do you know that the school wants to incorporate a new subject about Information and Communication Technology?

Laia: Yes, I know it. What do you think about it?

Mar: In my opinion, I think this new subject can teach students to interact with responsibility with people from other places on social networks, like twitter. Don’t you think?

Laia: Yes, but it can distract them so much, and they wouldn't pay attention to other contents of this subject.

Mar Yes, I know but … It can also keep students informed. They don't see the news, they're always with a mobile phone and with the pc.

Laia: You're right. But I didn't see it necessary, we can put this content in another subject or do some talks about it. What do you think?

Mar: Are you completely sure? I think they could to study in-depth more on this subject and let them know how to be more careful.

Laia: That's a good point of view.

Mar: Yes. Also, if we see that this subject doesn't work, we will remove it. We can make a lot of probations.

Laia: You’re right.

Mar: Of course. I think that ITC can have good things and bad things, but the important thing is to reinforce the advantages.

Sam and Emma are in a coffee shop because they have met in the evening. They are talking about teachers and their classmates.
EMMA: Any news?
SAM: Taking about class, can I do a question?
EMMA: Yeah.
SAM: I saw some bad attitudes from your stand.
EMMA: What are you saying? You're wrong.
SAM: How about your answers to Eva, Sandra, Paco and Manola? Are you sure?
EMMA: Well, never mind.
SAM: Why you don't want to talk about it?
EMMA: I'm shock.
SAM: I'm here to help you. Do you have any problem with them or something?
EMMA: Doesn't matter.
SAM: Hey, you can tell me everything.
EMMA: I'm very sensible lately, and it's possible that I have bad answers. What can I do?
SAM: Don't worry, you have to tell me everything and I will help you, but above all, you have to change your attitude.

One day at recess my friend and me we're talking about educating and people's ways of acting. I'd like to make him understand that doing things that aren't right
ME: Hello, I have to talk to you because I I've seen gestures of yours that I didn't like.
FRIEND: Ey, tell me what you want to talk about.
ME: I've noticed that you treat people according to your mood swings, when you're in a bad mood you're aggressing with other people and you make them feel bad.
FRIEND: What ? jajajaja. I’m not aggress.
ME: Yes, buy you don’t realize. When you have a bad day, when you have ennoyed something or you get to make angry you don't know how to control your anger and you get very aggressive and nervous. I think you annoy other people because that amuses you.
FRIEND: Really ? I hadn't noticed but, do people feel bad?
ME: Yes, but try to stay calm next time and don't mess with other people. You focus on yourself
FRIEND: Okey, I'll try to follow your advice. Thanks for telling me
ME: You’re welcom.

others.
Claudia:Seriously?I didn’t know it. Well you have to change this whors behavior because
isn't good for you.

Peter and David are talking about problems at the school. And David wants him to realize what badly is doing it…

Peter: It is clear that there are behaviors that cannot be allowed …
David: That's clear! But lately, people get upset about any little joke!
Peter: Honestly there are times when your jokes are in bad taste …
David: I'm just trying to have fun for a while
Peter: I have to talk to you.
David: About what?
Peter: Well, I’m not too sure but, in my opinion, your jokes often end up being annoying, very annoying ...
David: I disagree nobody has ever told me that it bothers him, so I don't think that's the case.
Peter: many people dare not stand up to their stalkers. Don't you remember that time you threw the glass of water at Marta and I ended up crying? Don't you think you overstepped the mark?
David: Yes, the truth is that sometimes it happened to me, but I never thought that what I was doing could turn out to be harassment. I don't want to go on like this…

Peter: I am delighted that you say that, I knew you did not do it on purpose but some attitudes cannot be allowed ...

Dialogue - Laura Sanchís

Archie and Alison, on their way to the shopping centre, are talking about the new kid in school.

Archie: Alison, have you seen the new kid in school? I think his name is Marc isn’t it? He is a loser, I don’t like him.
Alison: What do you mean? Of course I’ve seen him, it’s been a month since the school started and he goes to our class. I’m glad you started talking about it because we need to talk, I’m very disappointed at they way you treat him.
Archie: You must be joking; I treat him just fine. We may have some arguments but nothing more than that. I have to say that everything is his fault, I hate his personality and everything he does, it’s annoying and I can’t stand it.
Alison: Are you hearing what you’re saying right now? Archie, you’re bully! And I don’t care if you don’t want to accept it, I saw the other day how you we’re about to hit him. Stop being mean, he didn’t do anything just let him be.  If you don’t do something now, this may end very badly, and you may be expelled.
Archie: But don’t you realise that we’re friends? I’m only joking and I’m sure he doesn’t even care. I’m not a bully, I just like to bother him sometimes….
Alison: Archie how can you not notice? You’re making his life impossible. He doesn’t want to come to school because he is afraid of you. Do you think it’s normal? I’m going to answer it for you, it’s not. And I’m telling you, if you don’t stop, I’m not going to be your friend anymore.
Archie: I’ve never thought of it that way. Now that you say it, you are right I’m just being stupid. I’ve been having family problems lately, so I guess I just pay it off with Marc. What can I do?
Alison: You should talk about those problems, get it off your chest. Maybe, you can also start doing sport so you can keep yourself amused, read or do something you enjoy. But please, stop using your anger to hurt people.
Archie: You’re right, thank you for telling me! I promise that I won’t argue anymore with Mark and I’ll be nicer. I’m really going to try to be a good person. My problems don’t have to affect others. You’re a good friend Alison.

DIALOGUE- SANDRA MARTOS

It's 3pm and the Paula and Laia, two teachers, are at their lunchtime discussing the rights and wrongs
of ICT as a school subject.

Paula: Laia I think it is a good idea that children can have a class on how to use the technologies that              exist today, because it is an advantage for them and it is something that will serve them for                  their future.

Laia: Yes, I think is a good idea, but I don't think that everyone will make good use of the                             technology,  apart from the fact that they already have enough hours with computers and video           games at home, and I think that they use them in school is also excessive.

Paula: I agree with you and maybe they will be expend more hours in other subjects, but I think that              they would expend two hours a week in ICT and the rest of the hours in the other subjects, but            we need to give them the chance to learn more about technologies, because the tecnhologies                are the future. And they will be in that future.

Laia: Okey, at finally you have conviced me, is true that they should learn about technology, this                   subject will make life easer for them in the future.

DIALOGUE- Noelia Blanco Mejías

Sara and Noelia are in school, they are having lunch before their next class.

Sarah: I don't like her at all I just let her notice.

Noelia: Wow you're rude sometimes girl, you're acting like a bully and I don't like being friend of a bully.

Sarah: I don't know I don't think she cares about the things I've been saying to her, she never told me about she don't like my attitude.

Noelia: She's the shiest girl of the school, I saw her multiple times crying in the bathroom. You should treat her better or try not to be condescending with her.

Sarah: I'll try but sincerely I don't really feel it like you.

DIALOGUE-GERARD ANDREU

Two teacher have just ended a meeting with the director of the school and he explained that in the next course the classes will be done with computers and other new technologies and they are discussing about this new mesure.

Teacher 1: What do you think about what the director have just explained? I'm a bit frightenated about that.
Teacher 2: Yes, I'm also scared. I'm not too good with the computers and these new devices, I think I won't be able to do my classes fluidly.
Teacher 1: During the meeting he explained some things that I didn't understand, I had my mind bloqued. Do you think there would be any help to teachers like us that we don't now how to use well these devices?
Teacher 2: I hope so. However, I think that if we lear it quickly, we will have many more resources to do special and interactive activities in class. Do you agree with me?.
Teacher 1: Of course, I though that. Beside It will also help us with the work, beacuse we could do some online tests that will be corrected by themselves. With the studients there won't be any problem.
Teacher 2: Totaly. These guys are used to use new technologies and they now perfectly how to use these devices.
Teacher 1: I think that thew could help us if we have any problem, so we don't have to be worried about that, thruthly?
Teacher 2: This will be hard to start but it will help us a lot when we learn it well.

Dialogue - Itzel Rebatet

Sean and Demian, two highschool teachers, are in their spare time and they are discussing about the rights and wrongs of having ICT as a school subject.

Sean: I believe this subject has to be included within students' curriculum, their future will be based in a technological environment and giving them guidelines for a correct use of this technology will make them more competent for a job than someone else. Don't you think?

Demian: I get your point and some things that you said are completely fine for me. However, kids this age were born and raised with technology by their side, I don't find a reason on making a class only for that if the students alredy know how to use it. I think having more time to other subjects will be better, like Art or Music.

Sean: I agree with you that they should give more time to some subjects to enrich the students, but this class is also for that, not only students can learn about this new technologies, us as teachers we can learn how to use them for making classes more entertaining and also we can learn how to prevent cyberbullyng.

Demian: Okey, you are right. As long as I don't have to do the class, that's fine. I don't know anything about them!

Sean: Ohh Demian, you will the first attending that class!

Abby: Blair you know that it’s not true, the new girl is very sad, because she has just arrived at the school, and you have already made fun of her.
Blair: That is not true! Well, the truth is that a bit it is. But I’m not the only person who makes fun of her.
Abby: That's no excuse! You can't make fun of someone without reason!
Blair: You're right Ab, this shouldn't have I did.
Abby: Well yes, thanks for accepting it. Now we have to find a way to fix this. How about you ask for forgive? You should.
Blair: Now that you say it, I feel a little bad about what I've done.

Blair: You're right, Ab, I should apologize.

DIALOGUE_Marta Romero

I suspect that one friend of mine named Michael is a bully but he does not want to acknowledge it. So, I have decided to have a conversation with him to stop this behaviour.

Marta: Hi Michael! I haven't talked to you in days.

Michael: Hello Marta. Yes, I haven't heard from you for a long time.

Marta: It is true, it is strange that we go to the same institute and do not see each other.

Michael: Lately, I have problems in class.

Marta: Yes, I have heard rumours that you are bullying Sofia.

Michael: You know me well, do you think I am capable of doing that?

Marta: I think I know you well, but think what your sister would suffer if the same thing happened to Sofia.

Michael: If somebody hurts my sister, I would go for that person.

Marta: As a friend of yours that I am, I hope that you reflect on what Sofia is suffering at the moment and begin to change your attitude.

Michael: I don't think I'm hurting him.

Marta: I know you won't want to admit it, but I hope you think about it and if you need to speak again, you can count on me.

Michael: Ok, thanks for your words.

Marta: Take care, goodbye.

Michael: Bye, see you soon.

DIALOGUE- Álvaro Delgado

DIALOGUE

At recess, Ana and Jon talk about ICT(Information and Communication Technology) as a new subject.
Ane: Hi Jon, don't you think it would be a good idea to incorporate ICT as a new subject?

Jon: Hey Ane! Well... in my opinion, I think that this subject is not necessary. The students would be very distracted in class and they also know more about the technologies than we do.

Ane: I'm surprised you think that way. I think it is a necessary subject since society is increasingly based on technologies and it would be good to be able to teach children to enhance their level.

Jon: I don't see it so clearly because the students will miss classes in subjects such as math or languages and I see them as more important for their future.

Ane: This subject should be introduced little by little. In this way we can see if it works correctly.
I am convinced that it would work and would do very well.

Jon: Well Ane, then we keep talking.

Option 1 - Martí Rebull

Mark and Joe, two good friends, are lying on the sofa at Mark's house, a pizza half eaten lies on a small table between them and Mark is holding a large can of beer. He takes a large sip before addressing Joe:

Mark: “So, how's your group project going?”
Joe: “You mean the one with Jack?”
Mark nods.
Joe: “just fine, why?”
Mark: “I don't think you should pick on him so much, he's just trying to be a good partner.”
Joe takes a large piece of pizza from the table.
Joe: “I'm just messing with him, I would never hurt him”
Mark: “So he broke his finger on his own?” Mark says, avoiding Joe's furious glance.
Joe: “That was just an accident” says unconvincingly
Mark: “Look, Joe, It's not his fault you're always angry, besides, the teachers are starting to notice his constant injuries and when they find out it's you, you'll be expelled.
Joe: “You're right” He whispers after a long silence
Joe: “It's just that it makes me feel better for a few seconds, it helps me feel in control.”
Mark: “Apologise to him, and never do it again.” says with a steely stare.
Joe looks away, embarrassed, and nods slowly

-Hi Simon.
-Hello Olga.
-I wanted to talk to you about a disturbing topic ..
-Okay, tell me.
-I've been seeing an attitude of yours that don't like me.
-Why?
-Because I have seen that you have a stalker attitude for Carlota. And that's not good.
-I do not know what you are talking about...
-If you know Simon. You have no right to persecute her like this. I can help you Simon. I know a friend who is a psychologist and she can help you too.
-Thanks Olga, but I don’t need help.
-Yes Simon, you need help because what you're doing is a crime.
-I didn't think it was that bad ...
-I like to help you because you are my friend and together search a good road.

Marcos: Hello Allan!

Allan: Hello Marcos! Yesterday I saw you at the hour of the yard.

Marcos: I was playing with Andrew.

Allan: Marcos... You threw his books on the ground and started laughing about him.

Marcos: No! If we were just playing, we are having fun.

Allan: I think not, you should leave Andrew. You're always taking the sandwich out of him, tripping him, laughing at him... He must be tired of you.

Marcos: He always takes it well

Allan: The last time I saw him, he was in the bathroom crying, so I don't think that's okay, Marcos. You must understand that the actions you are doing are not good and that the only thing you do is hurt the feelings of others, I tell you from friend to friend.

Marcos: Well ... it is true that he does not take it well ...

Allan: It is not good that you make fun of him. I know that you are not like that, that is why if I see something that is not right, I have to say it because that is what friends do.

Marcos: You are right, today I will go to apologize. Thanks Allan!

DIALOGUE

Amy and Andrea who are two teachers, are at school talking about the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology

Amy: I’ve seen and heard that many people think that it’d be good to put ICT as one more subject, what do you think about that?

Andrea: honestly I think we’re in an era where practically everyone knows how to use new technologies perfectly, so there wouldn’t need for this subject

Amy: Yes, I think the same, plus those who are most familiar with the technologies precisely are children and adolescents. Although well it never hurts to learn more about technology since we know a lot of things but most of them are basic.

Andrea: It’s true that there’re quite a few students that when we send in some work that requires knowledge of technology, some are a little lost.

Amy: Yes, I suppose that although they use technologies constantly, but without a correct use, most of them spend their time playing or distracting themselves with technologies.

DIALOGUE - Carla Valero

María and Jorge are two teachers who were on their break time and suddenly they start arguing about the good and the bad that they have for new technologies.
Maria: I never thought that this would be a new subject.
Jorge: Do you really think that this new subject is necessary?
Maria: I think so. It can be very helpful for everyone to learn new things about it. In addition, this subject will make students have a disconnection time. What do you think?
Jorge: Actually, I do not agree. I do not find this subject useful, I do not find it necessary. You cannot learn anything.
María: Yes, you can catch many things and also that they will be useful for the future.
Jorge: Well, we will finish talking better and see if we reach an agreement.

DIALOGUE - Pau Jimenez

Marta and Albert are on break when they start discussing about the advantages and
disadvantages of ICT.
Marta: When I was young I never expect to be an ICT teacher although nowadays I love my job.
What about you?
Albert: Since I always wish to work as a teacher, do you think that ICT is a necessary subject?
Marta: Of course I do! In the near future, people who don’t get used to technology won’t find
a proper job within the ICT industry. Additionally, it’s also an entertaining subject that most of
the students like.
Albert: I don’t agree. In my opinion, ICT is a subject in which the students just play games! They
don’t learn anything there.
Marta: Of course not! At ICT pupils acquire several knowledge about software programs such
as Excel or Word.
Albert: Well, we’ll grab the conversation later on. I gotta go to class now.

DIALOGUE- Iveth Mula

Me: Paul, I have seen that you have a very bad relationship with Jean. What happen?
Paul: He is a super weird boy, he never talks or relates.
Me: And what happens? There are peculiar and little talkative people and you must not make fun of him for that. Each one has its character. It seems you abuse it.
Paul: I don't bulling him , I just jokes and I think it doesn't bother him.
Me: Paul, you're wrong. For this reason, I wanted to bring up the subject ... the other day I saw him crying and very affected. I sat down with him to try to calm him down and he explained that you jokes hurt him and he feels you  laugh at him. Jean feels peer presure.
Paul: Shit! I did not know. If it's that way, I'll talk to him. I didn't want to cause him any harm.
Me: Okay, perfect, don't worry. I know you didn´t do it specially. When you talk to him I'm sure it will be solved.

Samantha and Dylan are talking while going to school. Samantha is trying to talk about Dylan’s conflictive attitude, because Samantha knows Dylan is kind of a bully.

Samantha: So, Dylan, what’s with you and Caleb and the others guys?

Dylan: With Caleb and the others? I don’t know, they are my friends and my classmates.

Samantha: Are you sure? I don't think that.

Dylan: I don’t know, I think so.

Samantha: You think that and I think you must stop annoying our classmates, you have become a bully.

Dylan: I think you are confusing the things. I always do jokes and everyone laugh.

Samantha: Not everyone laughs. When you do something “funny” to someone, everyone laughs unless that person. So I think that a good joke it’s the one that makes everyone laugh.

Dylan: Now that says it, I think you're right. I'll try to do jokes for everyone, without hurting anyone's feelings.

Samantha: I'm proud to be your friend Dylan.
