OPINION ESSAY- NOELIA BLANCO

Today I'm going to talk about legal drugs, and if it is better for the people having some legal drugs allowed or it would be better if we make them illegal.

In my opinion, there is a lot of people consuming this type of substance without any type of control or restriction. And I'm not convinced at all with the birth restrictions because the underaged people can have access to these substances very easily because of the seller's irresponsibility.

I do not agree with turn these two types of drugs (tobacco and alcohol) illegal but I think it could be better if we have more control over the sales. I agree that tobacco and alcohol being legal because just thinking about private all the addicts that are so dependent on this normalized drug would increase a lot the delinquency and drug trafficking and also it will affect our economy.

In conclusion, I think consuming this type of substance can give you nothing good and it's an unnecessary spend of money, but I think it's very difficult to not give people who are used to these substances and also to the amenity of access to this type of product. So I think I'll keep them legal.
