Today being bilingual has many advantages and benefits. Does it have any disadvantages to be bilingual or are all advantages?
On the one hand, knowing more than two languages is very beneficial for any situation in life, to travel, to work, basically to communicate. Moreover, being bilingual gives us more difficult when it comes to learning a new language, as well as giving us much more culture.
On the other hand, being bilingual also has its disadvantages, for example, for bilingual people it is difficult to understand people who only know a single language. Furthermore, when a person is bilingual, they have to mix the languages they use most every day.
In my opinion, knowing more than two languages has many advantages for everything, for example being able to have a conversation with someone who is from a country other than yours and speaks a language different from yours.
