It is generally agreed that alcohol and tobacco are indeed dangerous to our health, however this substances are legal. Nevertheless, other substances such as cocaine or heroin, are illegal. Keeping this in mind, the question we need to answer is whether the government has to make alcohol and tobacco illegal.

Personally, I believe that these substances should be unlawful. The health could improve because there would be less people taking them. We have to keep in mind that even if they are illegal, there will be someone who wants to continue buying them, however it will be more difficult to get them.

Moreover,  the thing that government collect taxes for selling, since it has the a high percentage, demonstrates a pure economic interest that in the citizen physical. Their first argument is that it is not entirely harmful if taken with caution, however they are basically only thinking about money.

To sum up, alcohol and tobacco should be illegal substances but until people do not understand the damage they do,we can not stop commercialize them.
