During the twenty first century, piracy has always been a very relevant topic for music lovers. Although some people like "vintage" vinyls or buy their favourite artists CDs, most don't think twice before getting whatever song they like for free on the internet, without realising the damage that they are doing to the artist who made it.
In my opinion, music piracy is an unavoidable problem and shouldn't be punished, costumers will always try to get what they want at the lowest price possible despite it costing money to the artist, so it seems logical that they seek ways to purchase it for free. Besides, CDs have become quite uncomfortable since the only devices in which they work are much harder to find, and vinyls have already become extinct.
In conclusion, artists should find new ways to finance their work (like advertisements or donations) and stop relying on their costumers' discomfort. They could also make deals with music platforms online that allow them to collect donations from grateful fans, which would allow them to keep making music.
