Nowadays, speaking two languages has obvious practical benefits in an increasingly globalized world. For this reason, we should ask what are the advantages and disadvantages of being bilingual.
First of all, being bilingual helps you communicate with other people around the world. In addition, it is useful for work because companies prefer to hire people who know how to speak additional languages. It also helps you communicate with other people when you travel to other countries.
However, to learning another languages requires a big part of our time and constantly practising them to do not forget them. Apart from this, not all people can not afford to pay particular classes or a language academy.
In my opinion, learning new languages benefits you in the future especially when you can talk to people from other countries and especially at work despite it requires a lot of time and practice.
