BEING BILINGUAL
Nowadays, we are in a globalized world, the main instrument of this globalization is the language which permits the communication between people from different parts of the world. However, being bilingual is beneficial?
On the one hand, bilingualism can improve your competitiveness in the job market, actually people who are bilingual are searched by the companies who have a multilingual potential consumer. In addition, it opens up social and cultural opportunities because speaking another language lets you interact with different people and understand the nuances of another culture.
On the other hand, be bilingual can contribute to have some difficulties, sometimes people start a sentence with one language and the finish it with another, which is a common mistake. Furthermore, when you know two different languages you prefer to speak one language more than the other one, and it can contribute to forget the one less spoken.
To sum up, In my opinion, I believe that be bilingual have only positive effects for you, actually we are in a globalized world and it is the only instrument that we have to adapt ourselves to this new world.
